Backstage
I started practicing strings with the violin at the age of 3. Through both the Suzuki method, as well as classical theory, I eventually joined a youth orchestra in my homestate. After becoming disillusioned with the lack of modernity in the orchestral pieces, I dropped the violin and taught myself drums, which I practiced until I was 17, working with several musicians from my high school. Finally, I picked up a guitar from a friend and taught myself how to play it. Since then, I have styled my sound to reflect what I believe to be the next step in popular music.

Starving Art

I think most of my work sounds like I haven't eaten anything in a few days.  It's a side-effect of chasing relevant intellectual meaning for years instead of musical success...
